It has grown in popularity throughout the world. It is well-known and one of the most popular dishes all over the world. It has a high nutritional value while being low in calories and fat. Barbecued chicken is also high in protein. People who consume enough of this nutrient are more likely to keep their muscle mass and maintain a healthy metabolism.

  • 4 boneless chicken breasts
  • 0.17 cup white vinegar
  • 1.33 tbsp barbeque sauce
  • 1.33 crushed garlic cloves
  • 0.67 tsp ground black pepper
  • 0.67 tsp paprika
  • 0.67 tsp onion powder
  • 0.33 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 0.33 cup barbeque sauce for basting
  • 0.67 tbsp salt
  1. Thoroughly wash the chicken breasts and slightly pound the chicken to flatten it. Cut about half an inch deep slits in each chicken breast.
  2. Whisk vinegar, barbeque sauce and garlic together in a bowl. Add chicken to the bowl and coat it well with the marinade. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for about an hour.
  3. Preheat an outdoor grill on medium-high heat and brush the grill grate with oil. Once the chicken is marinated, pat it dry using kitchen paper and discard the leftover marinade. Place the chicken on a plate and season with salt, pepper, paprika, onion powder and cayenne pepper.
  4. Place the chicken on the preheated grill and cook for about 3-4 minutes. Flip the chicken over, close the lid of the grill and cook while basting with barbeque sauce. Cook for about 9-10 minutes until it’s no longer pink and the juices run clear.
  5. Serve hot with mayo-dip or chipotle / barbeque sauce.
